Back in September the team were challenged to develop a gift for family or friends retailing for £5 or less. The team now known as Laser Craft produced Christmas decorations and have been selling the decorations at various venues. For example, last weekend they were selling their products outside the Beech Inn in Chorlton. They did really well, giving up a good chunk of their Saturday afternoon and raised a further £80 towards their total for St Ann’s Hospice.
A group of Y8 students also helped make Christmas tree chocolate lollies in the Design and Technology department, which were then given out by Santa himself as part of the same event, hosted by the local flower shop ‘Floral Affair’. They raised a further £28.50 for St Ann’s Hospice.
Laser Craft have raised over £650 for Ann’s Hospice.
They would like to thank everyone who has supported them this term.
