Our poetry group keeps working hard and looking for inspiration all around us.
This time we used some famous works of art as an excuse to come up with our own poetic lines.
Here is an example of what Selina in Y7 came up with after looking at Paul Klee’s Senecio‘s portrait.
I am round
I hear no sound
And my lips are two small squares.
My eyes are in different places
almost like I have two faces,
and you’ll never see my hairs.
I am Me
and all you’ll ever see
is Me being me.
