The Geography department is modern and progressive, using a variety of teaching methods and learning styles designed to engage pupils’ interest and involve them actively in the learning process. The department is well resourced and uses exciting and motivational materials designed to develop pupils’ knowledge and understanding of the world and their interest in geography.

GCSE AQA Specification B
The course comprises three 50 minute lessons each week, supplemented by fieldwork. Students will develop a good sense of place as well as an awareness of the ways in which people and environments interact. There is an opportunity to look at geographical issues using the Manchester area and studying other areas of the UK, Europe and the wider world.
