Design and Technology is the study of man-made objects. Society’s needs are constantly evolving, making Design and Technology a fast moving subject where a correct solution today may well not be valid tomorrow.

The courses in this department are designed to help students acquire understanding and expertise through the process of design and making, whilst helping to develop a logical thought process and develop the senses. Students will look at technological development and its impact on the wider world, and develop the ability to retrieve information and make critical value judgements.
