Year 10 had a fantastic visit to St. Matthews Church, Stretford as part of learning about Christian beliefs and practices. To start with, pupils had time to explore what they could see in the Church and were encouraged to ask questions about the role of these features. Rev. Kate spent time explaining the context of the Church and answering any questions the pupils had. After this, we observed what happens during a Eucharist service and Baptism, thinking about the significance behind the ritual. Thank you for having us!
