Students Inspire the Audience with a Night of Songs from the Great Muscials
On a delightful evening at Stretford Grammar School, the stage was graced by remarkable talents as students showcased their vocal prowess in a celebration of songs from the great musicals. Alexandria, Sophia, Ainsley, Lulu, Ava, Emily, Phoebe, Elise, Samuel S, Sammy P, and Daisy captivated the audience with performances that spanned a variety of beloved musicals, each delivering unique interpretations that highlighted their individual strengths. From The Little Mermaid to Sister Act, the songs received rapturous applause from the audience. Singing teacher, Rachel Gilmore, praised the students, stating, "It’s always a joy to witness such passion and dedication; tonight was a testament to their hard work and commitment to the art of performance." The evening was not just a concert; it was a heartfelt tribute to musical theatre that left everyone inspired and in high spirits. As this is the first time such an evening has been held, it is hoped that after such a positive response there will be many more evening’s celebrating the talented students and dedicated staff.
