Stretford Grammar School was filled with excitement and the sweet scent of success on Thursday, 22nd January, as the PTA hosted its highly anticipated Chocolate Bingo evening.
Families, students, and staff gathered in the school hall from 6pm to 8pm for an evening dedicated to community spirit and, of course, plenty of cocoa-based prizes. The event proved to be a massive hit, with attendees of all ages enjoying a delicious hot supper included in their entry fee.
The hall was buzzing as the bingo numbers were called, with lucky winners taking home a variety of fantastic chocolate treats. For those looking for even more chances to win, the Chocolate Tombola was a flurry of activity, offering five tickets for £1 and keeping the excitement levels high throughout the night.
Beyond the games, the evening served its primary purpose: bringing the SGS community together to socialise and have fun. We are thrilled to announce that the generosity of our attendees helped raise over £1,000, all of which will go directly toward supporting school projects and enhancing the student experience.
We were absolutely blown away by the turnout and the energy in the room," said one PTA committee member. "Seeing the school community come together like this is exactly why we organise these events. Raising over £1,000 is a phenomenal result, and we are so grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated prizes to make the night such a 'sweet' success!
The PTA would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who completed the pre-event forms and helped us plan for such a great turnout. We look forward to seeing you all again at our next community event!
