A Level Results Day 2025 - a day of celebration!

Students and parents celebrate together
Stretford Grammar School is proud to announce another year of exceptional A Level results, reflecting the unwavering dedication of students, the expertise of staff, and the invaluable support of parents and carers. With a strong academic performance across the board, the Class of 2025 has set a high bar for future cohorts.
Results That Speak for Themselves
This year’s results showcase the academic excellence that defines Stretford Grammar:
- 43% of all grades were A/A*
- 72% of grades were A/B*
- 24% of students achieved straight A/A grades across all subjects*
These achievements have opened doors to some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, with the majority of students securing offers from Russell Group Universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester, and Imperial College London.
Special congratulations go to Damilola, Sumaya, and Juily, who each achieved A* grades in all of their subjects—a remarkable accomplishment that reflects their hard work and academic brilliance.
EPQ Excellence
The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which allows students to explore a topic of personal interest in depth, also saw outstanding results: 18 students achieved A*. This represents 55% of the EPQ cohort, highlighting the school’s commitment to independent learning and research.
Headteacher, Mr Mullins, shared his pride in the students’ achievements:
I am delighted to see that our students have gained the results that will enable them to go on to study their chosen courses in further education. During the last two years it has been a pleasure to be a part of their journey as they have developed the determination, resiliency and the skill set to achieve these results. It must be noted that behind these excellent headline figures there are real stories of endeavour and hard work on the part of our students. However, a huge thank you must go to the Curriculum Leaders who have expertly prepared their areas for the delivery of these new qualifications, the teaching staff who have taught them with great enthusiasm and creativity, the pastoral team who skilfully guided them in times of adversity and the unrelenting support of parents and carers. I am delighted to note that, as a consequence, our students are better placed than most to embark on the next stage of their academic careers and I look forward to hearing of their future successes – a huge well done to all.
As these students prepare to take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships, and beyond, the entire Stretford Grammar community celebrates their success. Their achievements are not only a testament to academic excellence but also to the strength of character and community that defines the school.
Now has never been a better time to join a warm and welcoming school community which provides great pastoral support to ensure all students have every opportunity to write their own story and achieve their full potential.
