Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you are well. As you know, we suddenly and tragically lost Mr. Mullins this week. As a school we are dealing with tremendous grief and also working hard to support our community of students, staff and parents. After long deliberation, I feel, that at this present time, we will have to postpone next week’s GCSE Awards Evening. I will be back in touch as soon as we have found an alternative date; this is likely to be later in the year, after the GCSE and A Level exams. I know you all will be very disappointed, but I hope you can understand the reason for my decision.

When we do meet you again, we will all be in a stronger place, ready to celebrate the wonderful GCSE achievements of our students.
