This year's Open Evening was a lovely event that really showcased our school and the wonderful community that makes Stretford Grammar School such a special and unique place to learn, work and visit. The heatwave did not dampen the spirits and the event was attended by over 4000 visitors. Our student tour guides and subject helpers did a marvellous job of hosting prospective students and their family members. Staff really enjoyed explaining what their subjects offered, and the event also saw our school governors help to make this event a real success. It was a testament to the memory of Mr Mullins - he would have been very proud to see the way our special community pull together on such occasions. Equally, the maths department proudly highlighted their curriculum in honour of Mr McAvoy.
