Stretford Grammar School was delighted to host the world renowned Mathematician and Director of Scholarships at Cambridge University, Dr Matthias Dorrzapf, who spoke to our Year 11 and Year 12 students about the pathways to Cambridge.  During his visit he provided guidance on what a degree at Cambridge entails and also concentrated on the prestigious St John’s College (whose alumni include the winners of 11 Nobel Prizes and 7 Prime Ministers).

In addition, Dr Dorrazpf gave our students valuable advice on the process of applying to Cambridge and what students should consider when completing their personal statements. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain an insight into such a prestigious higher education establishment, and we hope to see that Stretford Grammar students continue to aim high and achieve the best that they can.
