Year 7A Netball

Playing their 3^rd fixture of the season, the team travelled to Ashton on Mersey. The first game against the home team was close throughout. Despite some great defensive play, the game ended with a 2-0 loss. Captain Maddie Cookson played excellently and coached her teammates well throughout. Urmston Grammar proved to be a more challenging game and, with some changes to our strategy, the game ended 5-0 to Urmston. Amelia Higgins played really well out of position as Goal Attack and Maddie Cookson, again, played well as Centre, a position she hadn’t played before.
