Important Travel Information for the Entrance Examination

Directions
We are a 5 minute walk from Stretford Metro Station and it takes approximately 45 minutes from Bury, 30 minutes from Eccles and 15 minutes from Altrincham. The main Chester Road is also only a 10 minute walk away from the school.
The 15, 22, 23, 23A and 276 buses also go past the school.
Parking is available at Longford Park, Stretford Mall, Stretford Metro and Lacy Street. For health and safety reasons no vehicular access is permitted to the school grounds on the examination day. There is also a pedestrian walkway leading from Edge Lane directly to the main school gates .
Please ensure you access the exam by the entrance advised – X is the main school entrance on Granby Road and Y is the back entrance via Ingleby Court (opposite Longford Park main entrance).
Both roads are cul-de-sacs with Ingleby Road being very small and having no room for vehicles to turn. They are residential areas which will very quickly become congested in previous years resulting in over a 2 hour delay on exiting.
Please, please, please, park in the areas that have been advised above should you need to drive.
